These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website located at vertrule.com (the "Site") operated by VertRule ("VertRule," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

VertRule provides information about our deterministic reasoning runtime for AI, along with a way to request early access and contact us. These Terms apply only to the public Site and not to any future paid products or services, which will be governed by separate agreements.

2. Eligibility & acceptable use

  • You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Site.
  • Do not use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to infringe others' rights, to attempt to gain unauthorized access, or to disrupt the Site.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit (e.g., waitlist forms).

3. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and why.

4. Intellectual property

The Site and its content (including text, graphics, logos, and layout) are owned by or licensed to VertRule and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Site except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent. You may link to public pages of the Site in a fair and non-misleading manner.

5. Third-party links & services

The Site may link to third-party sites or services (e.g., analytics, form handling). We do not control or endorse, and are not responsible for, third-party content or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and may be governed by their terms and policies.

The Site is provided for informational purposes only and on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VertRule and its personnel from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way related to your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

We may update the Site and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.
